Prostate Cancer

The world of nutritional supplements are vast.  Below are the three recommendations we make.  The top two bottles on this page, below, can be purchase and used together or  the product at the very bottom of this page  is a combination that is more expensive, but means that you would only have to purchase one product.  This should be the basis for nutritional prostate support. There are several other products that can be used if a person's budget allows. Those additional supplements are here
Testosterone is broken down via two pathways.

Pathway #1- Testosterone is broken down into a form of estrogen.

Pathway #2-Testosterone is broken down into
DHT (Dihydrotestosterone)

As a man grows older pathway one becomes more active.  The study of nutritional supplements and how they effect these pathways has been long standing.

Saw Palmetto and African Pygeum partially block pathway #2. This pathway is thought to increase DHT which causes an increase in prostate size. Also known as Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy.

Zinc is also known to block pathway #2.
